Photo backup and file organization

Family photos, tax records, and important documents often live on a single phone or aging computer. If that device is lost or stops working, they can be gone for good. I help families around Pleasant Grove and Utah County make sure those memories and files are protected.

I can gather photos from old phones and computers, set up automatic backup to the cloud or an external drive, and organize everything so it is easy to find. Then we test a restore, so you know your backup really works. If you are out of storage, I can also help you clear space and choose a plan that makes sense.

Common questions

What is the best way to back up my photos?

Many people do best with two copies: one in a cloud service such as iCloud or Google Photos, and one on an external drive at home. The right setup depends on your devices and how many photos you have.

Can you get photos off my old phone or computer?

If the device still turns on, there is a good chance. Show me what you have and I will see what can be moved. A device that will not start may need a data recovery specialist, and I will tell you if so.

How will I know my backup is working?

We check it together by restoring a few files and photos. I also show you where to look for backup status, so you can see that new pictures and documents are being saved.
